HexFlex primer clear

HexFlex Primer is a water-based primer that is very easy to use. It is a transparent, flexible and durable latex-free primer that is not sticky to the touch when dry. Due to its elasticity it does not crack. It can be applied to a wide range of surfaces - foam materials (we recommend heat sealing the foam surface first), polystyrene, fabrics, wood and more. This primer gives the surface a satin-matt finish that is ready for further alteration.

Tip: This option can also be used as a top coat.

We recommend applying at least 3 thin coats. Allow each layer to dry for at least 3 hours (at room temperature) before applying the next layer. After the last coat, allow to dry completely for at least 12 hours (at room temperature) until fully cured.

HexFlex Primer is available in both clear and coloured variant. It can also be diluted to your desired viscosity, e.g. for use with airbrush.

Tip: The primer can also be mixed with powder pigments to obtain the colour in the desired shade.
